Higher education should be celebrated in all walks of life. It's a personal pleasure to recognize the achievement of a university degree especially as an African American. My tribute is to a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Vernesser (Ausley) Reed. She received her bachelor's degree in Integrated Social Studies.
